Peringatan Hari Kartini dan Pengumuman Pemenang Lomba
SD Strada Budi Luhur II
Hari Kartini selalu diperingati setiap tanggal 21 April. Hari Nasional itu diperingati untuk menghormati salah satu tokoh pahlawan wanita yaitu Raden Ajeng Kartini Djojo Adhiningrat yang telah memperjuangkan hak-hak wanita salah satunya dengan memperjuangkan hak pendidikan bagi wanita.
SD Strada Budi Luhur II memperingati Hari Kartini dengan mengusung tema “Semangat Kartini untuk Pelajar”. Perayaannyapun sedikit berbeda dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya karena diperingati di tengah pandemic covid-19. Kegiatan ini diisi dengan mengadakan berbagai perlombaan secara virtual yang dilaksanakan dari tanggal 8 -14 April 2021. Lomba tersebut diikuti oleh seluruh siswa-siswi SD Strada Budi Luhur II mulai dari kelas I –VI. Adapun lomba tersebut meliputi lomba putra-putri batik nusantara, lomba foto selfi menggunakan pakaian batik, lomba membaca puisi Kartini, lomba gerak dan lagu, lomba menyanyi dengan iringan musik, dan lomba putra-putri Kartini. Dari penjurian ini ditentukan pemenang juara I sampai Juara Harapan II. Para pemenang akan mendapatkan hadiah yang menarik.
Puncak kegiatan jatuh pada tanggal 21 April 2021 diawali dengan persembahan angklung oleh guru dan karyawan SD Strada Budi Luhur II dilanjutkan dengan pengumuman lomba yang disampaikan oleh Ibu Putri dan Ibu Nova. Nah, anak-anak pasti sudah penasaran kan hasil lomba tersebut?

Presiden Soekarno mengeluarkan Kepres RI No 108 Tahun 1964, tanggal 2 Mei 1964, yang menetapkan Kartini sebagai Pahlawan Kemerdekaan Nasional sekaligus menetapkan hari lahir Kartini, tanggal 21 April, untuk diperingati setiap tahun sebagai hari besar yang kemudian dikenal sebagai Hari Kartini.
